Im working on an 06 GTO with a IRS 9" swap. It has a 5/16 hose off the vent routed up into the car two feet and then out the fenderwell in back of the tire. It still gets a few drips out of the vent after a hard run on the freeway. Im thinking of adding a catch can to it since I cant get the line up any higher in the car. Or is there another solution? I did try to loop the hose a couple times and that did not fix it.

Could possibly put the vent out the back have it run thru a trap like box, hose runs in 1/2 off the bottom the other hose 1/2 from the top, then when the car is not in use whatever collected can drain back

OR, or check the level, with it being an IRS now the fill is probably the same as when it is a live axle and no one gave any thought to fluid level and why, and another issue could also be that the vent isn't in the right spot and it's in a area where pressure builds.
