We have a 427cid cleveland stroker in our foxbody it has CHI 4v heads that flow 350cfm at 700 lift.It has a weiand tunnel ram and two 660 cfm carbs we are shifting inthe 6800to7200 range.The car is 3284lbs and we are thinking it need more carbs.Will two 1050 be too much.Thanks

Hello it has a 13.5 compression,roller cam 280int/284exh from o.50 715int/739exh lift 106 lobe.Chi heads with 2.19"int/1.65"exh valves.They flow 350cfm int 235cfm exh.Weind tunnel ram two 660cfm carbs.It has a c4 trans and 6200 stall it is too much.I am thinking too put a powerglide in it this winter.It has 3.70 gear and 27.3" tall et streets.Hope you can give me some info.Thanks Arni

3.70 Gear??? Are you planning on running N2O? That would seem like you're not going to get the engine up into the RPM where the T/R is going to really work.

If you put some gear in the car since you have a 6200 converter, I'd most likely go with a pair of carbs with a 1.41" to 1.45" Venturi and a 1.75" Throttle Bore.
