383 sbc 13:1 660 solid roller,steel motown heads,super victor.car weighs 3200..any suggestions? i do have access to a dominator 750..is drag raced only
A pro built 950 HP based carb will be your best bet, maybe a 1000 HP 4150, a 750 dominator is all show and no go but can easily be turned into a real 1050, but that would be too big.
ive ran the dominator ,set up as a 750 with 4150 adapter flange.72 primaries 75 secondaries..35 &40 squirters..best 60ft has been a 1:57 footbrakin leavin line @ 3200..best 1/8 et was [email protected] mph..im very tight on budget for upgrading away from dominator,,was just curious if a 4150 set up right would justify spending extra money to get a lil more out of it
I can tell ya from my experience (Bigger is not always better) Everyone see's a fuckin Dominator & OH SHIT! I GOT TO HAVE IT! WRONG!!! I had a set up similiar to yours back in the day & ran a 750 (4150) & with a little work IT WAS THE SHIT! Worked the metering blocks alittle etc, etc.I tried a bigger carb & it SLOWED DOWN.So just remember a bigger dom or carb will not always work.Just my 2 cents.
What the Fuck is this Imageshack SHIT?
