Just about ready to fire up my new setup this week. I had a lot of issues with this carb last year, even after a full rebuild, so I'm thinking I need a new one this carb I have is very old, it's a Barry grant 850 gold claw mechanical secondary.

New motor is a stock block F4TE Windsor,
.30 over probe srs pistons
Stock rods with arp bolts
Stock crank with arp main studs
Mild roller 560 lift/285 dur/110.5 lobe sep cam
Ported victor jr's, int [email protected]" exh [email protected]"
Port match super victor
Zex perimeter plate 250 kit
FJO progressive controller
Msd 6al2 programmable
2 fuel systems. 94 pump/C16 1gallon cell.

Should I stick with the 850 or go smaller or bigger and why??

Should I be getting a custom carb built from someone like pro systems??

Also fell free to add any input to my setup.
