Well I've been thinking of ditching my plastic LS6 intake and switching over to a Victor Jr EFI intake so I can keep making power past 6500 rpm.

One of the major drawbacks with these spyder intakes on our cars from what I keep hearing is air distribution-the Wilson 110 degree elbow is probably the best but because of space limitations-it won't fit.

So I'm looking at the Carb hats from Steve M or the new one from Procharger and was thinking this?

If I can get a Carb hat with a 4" inlet-why not get a plate welded on the front so I can mount my TB. then on the Carb hat outlet-why not weld on a plate that has a 4150 flange that will bolt up to the intake.

From what I understand the Carb hats have good air distribution-What do you guys think?

FWIW-nobody makes a 4 hole TB with ETC(electronic throttle control) for the C5-or I would just use that and bolt the carb hat on it.
