Dove Alum. Hi-Riser heads and matching intake with two 750 hp bodied carbs.

Same with two custom 1000 cfm? carbs.

On the dyno with the 750's mounted sideways, 750hp bodies, 4412 primary blocks, jetable secondary jet plate, no PV's, 50cc primary pumps, no secondary pumps, 750 dp base plates.

And with the custom carbs, these are about 1/2 the weight of the Holleys.

Linked them from my drive, not sure how to do pics yet on the new format and I don't have them saved elsewhere.

Same intake, basically before and after, lol. Took 3.5" out of the runner and added back 2.5" of plenum. Picked up quite a bit peak and even more average power; 30+ on both. Was already ported before I cut it up, so that part didn't change, also had 1/2" spacer between manifold and carb plate when dyno'd before cutting. 600ci simply didn't want that much runner or that little plenum. Original version had smoke swirl UP from the venturis at 6k-6200 on the dyno....

Not nearly as fancy as some, but all home grown. Just went 4.711 @ 152 on a 36 fogger in a 2850# 2x3 a-arm/ladder bar car on 10.5's at Snowbirds a couple weekends ago, so we're pretty happy with it especially for how far off the tune still is.

I had to drag the picture into post.

Thanks Mark.

I wanted it to fit under our 5" cowl hood. I love the injection, stupid simple.

Is that the tall deck I assume?

Before and after dyno sheets?

Sounds like the stock runner length is optimized for a lower rpm than you’re turning.

Yes, tall deck 600ci combo(4.610" bore, 4.5" stroke).

We first dyno'd with the fully ported stock version with a 1/2" spacer in between the manifold and top plate(to increase plenum). At ~6200 rpm we actually watched smoke swirl UP out of the boosters.... tried anti-reversion plates, which helped the visual of it but didn't help power much. Made ~97x hp at 6800-7k(been a while, I don't have the sheets in front of me, IIRC it was 976). - Took it home and looked into other manifolds, but there really aren't any cast conventional tunnel rams that I would consider right for a larger CI combo; all too long of runner and not enough plenum. So, I cut 3.5" out of the runner length and added 2.5" of plenum, as you see. Back on the same dyno, no more visual reversion and 1022hp at 7200. Picked up around 30hp average as well.

I was more than happy that it broke 1k with just a 2.300" valve, especially with a large split heavy nitrous cam.
