I sold a block to a guy that said the machine shop said it wasn't safe to bore an iron 4.6 gt block to .30 over. I find it hard to believe, what do you guys think?

The guy I sold it to wants his money back. Everyone in alb,nm loves the machine shop that this guy took it to,so it might be hard to find another machine shop that knows how to work on ford modular blocks.
