looks like a k98. it looks just like the one i have. only difference is there is no hole through the stock to dissasemble the bolt.what year does it say on top? mine says 1944, mine is an eight mm.

The '93 Mauser cocks on closing. The '98 cocks on opening!! The 93 has the flat bottom bolt while the 95 has a round bolt besides the stock being different

it is NOT a K98.

yes this one cocks on the closing. and a buddy of mine on thursday told me it was a 93. thanks guys for the help

Looks like Oviedo. Oviedo is a Spanish arsenal. Make sure what it's chambered for before you shoot it. I think a lot of these were rechambered for 308.
