Sorry not really a tech question but can you buy a solid container made of abs or some similar product for shipping a camshaft? Cardboard isn't dickhead proof

I'm looking to ship a custom grind out to OZ and don't really want to receive it bent..........nothing worse than a bent shaft :(

Surely someone makes a sturdy case for bump sticks?

Any help would be great :)

Buy a piece of PVC pipe just big enough to fit the cam in and a couple end caps. glue it and ship it. if they break that then all hope is lost

If you have a local UPS Store, they have tubes that may work for you.

Yeah just what I was thinking, the cam might arrive unscathed but wait till it's new owner goes to town on that hard to open packaging.....lol
Instead of gluing caps on both ends, use a threaded end on one with a plug. For simple storage, I use caps that aren't glued on.
