not a street motor ? can your valvetrain handle the rpm needed to do this ?

wrong cam for those heads.

What bore is that chamber set up for? 4.00" right?
Yes, sorry it is a 4.0 bore on the heads

I don't drive the car much on the street, maybe to a car show or to the track. Im trying to stay away from a solid roller but if that's what I need Ill get. As far as valvetrain, I have a set of Jesel SS shaft mount rockers but Ill buy whatever I need.

I don't think those heads will work that well on a 347... they just seem to be way too big to me for those cubes aspecially when there are guy's making some pretty big power with 50cc less intake port.

I thought I'd give them a try, I know it's hard to pick a cam when the heads are so new, but someone must have done so testing on these things.

I'm no cam guru, but I'll take a shot at it. Since you have LOTS of head and intake, I think you can run a good bit of overlap, to help make torque and get the velocity up on the heads. I think 20-24 degrees of overlap would be good. I would close the intake valve fairly early because I think the velocity is still going to be low, so I would close it by 44 or so. I like the LSL lobes, so a 235/243 on a 109+2 would give you 21 degrees of overlap and a 44.5 IVC and 52.5 EVO point. I hope this helps.
