For a new cranksahft, I would let the crank manuf. do a no holes balance on the crank when they make it.... But you need to have your data in line before the crank is finished so timing is everything on that...

If you're not having a custom crank made, and you need an assembly balanced, I use LSM and I use a fellow who used to work for Moldex Crankshaft. He's located in Westland. I can pm you the phone number if you're interested.

What limits would you put on a Callies piece as far as RPM and power level?
Say for a 2.100 rod journal 4.250 stroke big block crank......

Gary.... I really don't want to stick my neck out on that. I'd like to say spin it 9 grand if you want to but I know little about the material, WHICH callies we're talking about, etc....

Depends on the bob weight and the crank design really.... what is the application? Buick? Chevy? what?
