will a torque converter from a c6 that was behind a sbf work in a c6 transmission that goes behind a 460. I found a good deal on a converter but want to make sure they will work

May have to change the flywheel. Get the part number and contact the manufacturer.

Yes, it should work as long as your crankshaft has a 1.375 pilot. Some very early 429/460's had a 1.850 pilot. (Most all FE motors had the 1.850 pilot also)

Yes, thats correct the only difference between the two is the bell housing bolt pattern,if you have a c-6 transmission for the 460 and the input shaft is the same as the small block 1.375 it will work.

yes it will work if its is not an early crank (big pilot)
