I have an ATI built C4 that has around 80 passes on it. Its behind a N20 4.6 ford that runs 6.40's in the 1/8th. The car is at 3150 lbs.

my question is the fluid looked brand new when I drained it but the plug had some crud in the magnet and it had a little built up on the filter just under the suction tube? ( it did have just a few pieces of metal but not much) How much is too much before a rebuild?

It shifts perfect and it doesnt have the 3rd gear flare yet. I have had people on both sides of the fence.
