I just purchased a moroso locking dipstick for my C4. The center of the fill range is probably flush with the tube stop. Shouldn't this be lower? Like in the case / pan?

The one that came with the car / trans (which I imagine would be stock) has the center of the fill range 3-3/8" BELOW the tube stop.

Every dipstick & tube you order is different...When i ordered my lock tube for trans and motor...I just put in the correct amount of oil or trans fluid and marked the stick if it was off...I run 7 qt's in my C4's ' so i just fill the trans with 7qt's and mark the stick...Whats the brans you bought...If its like my PA tube&stick i will post a pic of mine where i marked it...

I just read else where proper fill level to be a 1/4" above the pan lip. So sounds about right to me.
