Damn I hope my 306 s400-80 combo works That good. I've got a 1.25/ar but with a 87mm turbine. You know what heads are on this car and cam specs?306ci Fox body @ 3348 weight, S400-80 billet with race cover and 92mm LDP turbine wheel, T6 1.25A/R, went [email protected] Same car with cast 82mm wheel upgrade went [email protected] 2 weeks ago. Boost is not dropping off and back pressure is still in check. I figure the customers car with everything but the kitchen sink will do 135-137max with the 82 and 133-135 with the 80 if he had pushed it. He is working on the converter to get the car off the line harder.
imho there is no reason when starting from scratch to not go to the t6 flange turbo. package it nice now and make it all fit so down the road all you might have to do is put a bigger exhaust housing on.can i get the power i want with a t4 or do i need to use a t6.i am shooting for low to mid 9s for starters.we do not have but one tunner up in my neck of the woods so i want to see what i can get way with usin a mostly stock 5.3 and save my money and build a good one once my tune is figured out.i justttt dont want to spend some good cash and watch it burn up because i dont know enough about the tune.oh buy the way we have no good air.da at race day is 6500 up thanks.i also would like to keep it FI.
