I need to replace 3. I ordered the same Pistons, so I'm assuming they should weigh the same. I have the Engine on the stand, but I haven't removed the Rod Assemblies yet. Should I weigh a good Piston to compare it to a new one?

I'd have piston vary up to 15 grams in a run. Not a problem in a large run. I'd see about a 40 gram difference in the life of a die on some part numbers.

ALWAYS specify weight on a remake.

Just trying to start a conversation.. It brings out a lot of dopes.

But yeah, I got the Shortblock from Woody.. I had him order replacements, so I'm not worried. I do however have a scale so I can check just to be sure. Still waiting for delivery..
