Speaking strictly hypothetically, of course, can your burnout/peel-out marks in... oh, say a parking lot tell you if your tire pressure is too high or too low? Suppose, hypothetically, that you saw dark marks corresponding to the tire edges and no marks in the middle, should you increase pressure?

Hypothetically yes, just like if the tire marks were dark in the center and light on the edges you would decrease pressure...hypothetically speaking of course

See, that's what I thought. Obviously, playing with tire pressure at the track is the best, but I thought the marks could also be informative. Hypothetically.

but beware, if your putting wheel speed to your tires to cut back on some traction, your tire pattern will fool you!!!!!!
