what is the deal with pro nos cars running bull horn`s? is there an advatage?

we just had a set of side exits built for a couple of reason. fired it up in the drive way just to hear what the new headers sounded like and it amazed me how must force the exhaust had coming out of the pipe at an idle. i can only imagine what kind of pressure they put out at speed.

helps keep the front end on the ground





Hang 20 lbs right on the very nose, we all know for sure that actually works.

Im definetly installing some on my nitrous powered 89 buick century that Im building in another thread. Being a front wheel drive I figured it was the only answer to traction once I crack the 200HP barrier!:party

putting 20 lbs. on the nose vs. redirecting existing exaust.......i'll take the horns. alot of downforce (estimates of up to 400lbs.) on the no2 cars.

Maybe on 800" motor but what would you say on a nitrous small block
