I don't do this for a living just hobby stuff. This is a set of Pontiac valve covers I designed and am in the process of completing. I still need to countersink and smooth the bolt hole locations and finish sanding down to a 600 grit for the final brush finish going on. It's very time consuming with all of the machining, welding and sanding.http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/k574/pearlbluebird/Custom%20valve%20covers/PIC_0142.jpghttp://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/k574/pearlbluebird/Custom%20valve%20covers/PIC_0143.jpg http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/k574/pearlbluebird/Custom%20valve%20covers/PIC_0144.jpg

Since I've only done a few sets at a time they wind up being very time consuming. There isn't much call for a lot of VC's for a Pontiac. I could cut the time by mass producing a stock pile of pieces but I don't think it's worth while. Right now I'm laid off and have some time on my hands.
These covers will receive a #4 brushed finish. I'll post pics of the finished soon.

WOW, very nice job!!! Would you consider building some BBC ones???

Thanks, Lock
Hey Lock, I would need to start a cnc program for the base and all the other dimensions needed. It would take a fair amount of Research and development. Right now I can't swing it but I am considering future projects. Thanks.

I completely understand. If you EVER put some BBC ones together I am interested.I LOVE the look of your valve covers. I am looking for 2 sets if that helps. Again, strong work, they look awesome.
