what are u all useing to get the signals a dis and a crank wheel or just a dis what is better and why?

Use the distributor to get a cam signal and a crank trigger for the crank signal. This is the best way to do it, the distributors with the cam and crank signals built in are not the best way to go. There is too much deflection in the cam to get an accurate crank signal.
