BRUTON SMITH TO BUILD DRAGSTRIP IN LA?

That old pot stirrer O. Bruton Smith is making waves on the rumor lake again. Agent 1320 got a report over the weekend from a usually reliable source in the Mooresville, NC, area with the news that the Smith operation is looking at a 300+ acre industrial tract in the LA basin area with the idea of building another SMI-owned drag racing palace. It’s absolutely just a rumor but Smith has shown he likes building drag racing complexes.

Step #1: Build a series of modern drag strips across the country at the same time the suitability of older drag strips for national event use is being seriously questioned. (finally)
