Tailhousing is broken?
Driveshaft broke or U joint came apart?
Output shafts don't take much to bend if the tail broke.

Had a bit of a misshap at the track today Uni broke and smashed under side of my car to bits. Car has 2 piece tailshaft and a factory front loop that caught it, but it was flopping all over the place
Got car home and on the hoist.
For some reason i cant get the yoke out the back of the th400.
I have even given it a light tap with a soft face hammer but it only moves in and out 10mm or so.
I cant see any damage to the extension housing.
With car in neutral i can get yoke and turn one way by hand but not the other.
Anyone have any idea what happend and how i can get the yoke out?
I am worried that it may have push all the way in, bottom out in the trans when it broke or maybe twisted the splines in there. Thats why it wont come out?
knock the rear seal out and maybe 🤔 you can use a bore scope to see the splines?🤔. Bottom line it’s got to come apart!

Most people call the output shaft in the trans the Tailshaft. You are showing us the driveshaft or sometimes people call it the Propshaft.Hutch this is how this model of car tailshaft should look.
Picture will probably tell 1000 words as they say
