opinions??? likes/dislikes? how crazy is the valve train gonna be?looking at these for a friends SBC turbo combo. how do these compare to the dart little chief's both performance and cost wise. the little chiefs require a special block with offset lifter bores and the brodix does not, this kinda scares me but hey, i gotta buy ia block anyway. all i have is rat motor stuff. :D anyone have any flow numbers on these heads? looking to make 1800rwhp with a 101mm turbo... maybe a 106mm. 4.185 bore motor not sure what stroke yet. thanks,
matt

Really this design head has been around for a while now from All Pro, Alan Johnson, and others. Brodix is just now trying to compete with these designs.

What kind of manifold is this combination going to have?

it would be nice to have a hogans but i believe the rules limit to a single 4 cast type manifold, the brodix and dart manifolds respectivley. what do you reccomend? would the allpro's or allan johnson heads be a better choice? or would 18* do me just fine?

I would carefully examine all of them.... The shallow valve angle of a 13 degree head is going to be difficult to keep compression down for a tubo engine... depending on the CID. If you end up with a 30-40 cc chamber you'll have to start getting creative and unconventional to get compression out of the thing....

Look at the spark plug positions of all the heads... I'm not certain, but I believe the All Pro 13 degree head has a plug position like a 23 degree head.... wouldn't seem optimum to me, but the heads have quite a record behind them in the sprint car world. The brodix may have a better plug position. This stuff might be minor... but if you're shopping for new heads, they pretty much cost the same so pick the best you can.

I would think Alan Johnson might have some good insight to forced induction as well....... I'd be on the horn with them.
