Please take a moment to remember those in your life that we've lost... and those that have survived breath cancer.

I lost my grandmother Dorothy a week before I was born... and a year after my mom lost my brother who was born a still born... may she RIP.

I Have two friends that Have survived.it. I buy anything breast cancer... even my office supplies... and donate when I can. Lets help find a cure... and always remember the survivers... the fighters... and those we've lost...

My Mom fought that crap for two years. I was lucky enough to be able to care for her and to arrange for her to pass at home (pain free thanks to hospice morphine) with all of us surrounding her.

My wife has been a mammogram tech for 20 years, and I would like to stress the importance of having a yearly mammogram performed, especially if there is a family background of breast cancer. Early detection is the key to beating this.

my wife is a survivor, she was 34 when she found out.she had been having her mammograms every 6 months for 5 years before her diagnosis.we new she had a knot on one of her breast that she kept asking about. the dr kept saying nothing has changed.one night while taking a bath she noticed blood coming from her nipple.we went the next morning to a different dr who sent her to a specialist. they removed her fight breast and she had chemo for 1 year.so far so good.moral to this story is never completely just trust what the dr. tells you if you question what they say please have a second opinion. I thank God the cancer did not spread throughout her body during that 5 year period.

My mom was diagnosed a year ago last month. She had stage 3 developing into stage 4. She had her surgery in march and is now finishing up here last few bags of chemo for preventive reasons. We had a team put together for the Susan g. Komen walk here in Chattanooga. I just thank God for keeping his hand on her and watching over her.

My grandmother, my mother, and now my twin sister (only 35 yrs old!) have beaten breast cancer!! My sister actually goes in for her implant surgery tomorrow! She opted for the double mastectomy rather than run the risk of having to deal with this again so she gets new boobies tomorrow! She also has MS so not only has she been thru a lot the MS will continue to make that a way of life for her.
I'm going to have a few streaks of pink put in my hair at a breast cancer fundraiser - my sis is going with me :)
