is it possible to tap the rear vacuum port on the carb base with a nitrous or restrictor vs drilling the butterfiles for a bleed hole? Is there gonna be any issue with doing this?

you are creating a vacuum leak not a bleed a hole in the throttle blade becomes a non issue when the blades open, the booster leak will still be there leaning it out. imo just start with a small hole in the throttle blade and go bigger as needed, you can solder them shut if you need to change it later.

If you are not running a vacuum pump install a pcv valve.Calibrted vacuum leak.If your worried about oil contaminating the intake charge use a catch can in the line.
