What are the differences between 4.84 and 5" bs front to back

I asked that question to a Rep @ Sonny's while looking at one of their engines. And he told me that that the 5.0 BS is the same front to back as the 4.84 and would bolt between my motor & Midplate without a problem. It wasn't until you go bigger than the 5.0 that this dimension will change.

I figured it was a dumb question but I didn't know. So the block will fit in the same space as a 4.84 but the header configuration would be the only difference then.

The header configuration is going to depend on the type of cylinder head you would use.
