These are basically the same cars. There are redline tires with rally wheels on the Impala and dog dish hubcaps on the Biscayne. The Impala has a body side molding, chrome wheelwell moldings, chrome driprails and a vinyl top. The Biscayne is definitely bare bones. Of course, the color is different too. However, the biggest difference is the pillarless coupe vs. post style sedan body.

Which one do you like better? The more I look at old cars like this, the more I believe I much prefer the two door sedan. I also like the idea of the support that post provides. Yeah, they are big boats, but I think they'd make a neat ride. I have an admitted weakness for 1969 Impalas. My first car was a 396 Impala. Take care. Tom Worthington.

my first car was a '69 Impala
a 4 door..
the Biscayne is a lower model,and from what I hear was lighter as well.
1-caprice
2-impala
3-biscayne

No doubt, the Biscayne. Baldwin/Motion used to sell a "Streetracer's Special" version--never saw one though. Anyone have an old picture or two of one?

Biscayne, unless it's a '65. It is my opinion that the '65 Impala is one of the best looking cars ever produced.
