How do u fit a birdcatcher on a blower with the buzzard catcher bolt pattern and larger hole without an adaptor? Can u fill in the blower top?

Can u get a standard 14-71 blower with the birdcatcher inj. bolt pattern or do they all have to be adapted?

They must all be adapted once you get bigger than a bug catcher I believe. I dont think welding up the top is a good idea.

i've seen some 14-71's with the dual pattern, 13 and 15 inch...

the newer blowers usually have the smaller opening, otherwise buy or make an adapter. Better Yet, buy a buzzard catcher or a big-ugly

Our littlefield has both patterns, but I'm not sure if a bird would cover the opening. - Running a 14 I would think you would be running a blower restraint, thus it's plate could be used as the "adapter".

As Shawn eluded, not much reason to choke the air-flow down though, just step-up to the bigger hat.
