I have a bird catcher that came off my 632 and I am building a new 722ci bbc. I plan on using injection on this motor as well. First thing is How much of a difference will I see if I change my bird unit to a buzzard if I decide to do so. Or will I not notice anything This is naturally aspirated.

Secondly, I called Enderle to give me a starting point of what to use for nozzles on this new motor and they were very helpful but I was wondering if anyone has a formula for figuring out how much fuel this motor might require just so I could get a base on it. I plan on flowing this system but I want to see how far off my system is now from where it needs to be.

Does anyone know how much air a bird catcher actually can flow or support? And will I gain anything by going to a buzzard or is it a waste of time and energy?

One hole in a Bird is close to 2800 cfm.

Why a Buzzard, your Bird is WAY more than enough air !

Well I found out some info that a bird flows about 4600cfm. The motor I plan on building will need about 3100 cfm at so from the sounds of it I will be fine.

The other option I may consider if I need to is to send my hat out to Gerodot and have the round butterflies changed to the square butterflies. That will give me some more air if I need more.
