I'm going to upgrade my PTE 6766 to billet wheels. I would like to get some recommendations on who is the best to use?

not trying to hijack this thread but what are the benefits and performance gains going from a cast wheel to a billet wheel on one of these 66mm turbos?i was told only a gain of 300 rpm on spool up and that's it.

There's a likely possibility the billet wheel also has a bit better airflow from improved blade design with the billet/cnc technology.

Call Jose at Forced Induction .

Not sure about the turbo your talking about , but his billet 76 flows more than the cast 80 on the BW stuff .

Send them to PTE and have the wheels swapped out.

The housing has percision on it. The cover does not. Is this an older model?

Looks old school to me. Heck that turbine looks to be the old 11 blade TV wheel

Id pull the housing and measure up what you have both sides.

If it is an old P or Q trim turbine which it looks like I wouldn't stick any money in them IMO. Can get get much better turbos for cheap. Something like a cast s366
