saw this and thought I would pass along.

Sad news today, my uncle, drag racing legend, Bill Maverick Golden made his final run in life today. He had a great run. Many trophies, championships, titles, and of course, inventing and immordalizing the Little Red Wagon original wheelstander into drag racing history.
And he wasn't a bad fisherman, 2 Louisiana state records, king mackerel.
I'm gonna miss ya Bill. We had a lot of laughs, and breathed a lot of nitro together..
RIP my friend... hit the chutes and take that final turn.

RIP Mr. Golden.
I remember the Little Red Wagon sitting at a local Dodge dealer on display. I got my dad to stop so I could look at it, also saw it run at Milan sometime later.

May he RIP.
I remember that Little Red Wagon at Islip and National Speedway in the 60's.
He put on a good show. It was cool.
It's so sad to see all these great legonds pass.

Sorry for your loss - RIP

I can't remember how many times I saw him run over the years but I know it was at least 2-3 times. Always a good show.
