Ron Rhodes old motor is for sale now for 59k Dave agne that works for bes has it forsale .fresh rebuild too.but we run a 4.125 bore 3.875 stroke with a raised cam stock deck height block.you can run many different combos of rod length and piston design with that combo and a large cam core.you will have a durable sbc at a reasonable price using off the shelf parts

Not enough deck height to build big cube in my opinion.

Yep. Not worth it. As said above keep the stroke down & do a power adder. Leave the bore at 4.125".

Block is here. Haven't taken it out of the box. I'm still unsure on what heads. Am considering Chad Speier 23° heads but some have persuaded me to go 13°. That is if the chambers can be softened. It will be a forced induction build. I'm always open to suggestions.
