Short answer....not really....Clutch assisted for street,Gf5r or liberty lsc 5100 good for close to that. But at that weight....You would need a very well set up clutch for it to survive traction and abuse at the strip... You can make a Muncie live on the street with polyglass tires...lol

Most of the "abuse" manual transmissions see at the strip is due to a poorly set up clutch. The trans can live a lot closer to the edge when you have the hit properly dialed in, weight won't matter much as long as the clutch is properly spec'd to handle the added abuse that comes along with the heavier weight.

Hightower transmissions, Jerico, GFR5, Anything can break. A good clutch for your application will be key.

A lot of people pushing Magnums to that, and beyond ? And lets face it....they're pretty damn good value.

Or I believe some guys now offer stronger gearsets for the Magnum too.

Or there's a company in the US who offer a 6 speed sequential they claim is the stongest ever...fucking expensive though. I personally would not want a sequential if I did a lot of street use though.

Samsonas closer to you offer a 5 speed sequential with stronger gears than their previous 6 speed. Although how strong it actually is I don't know.
