Those of you spraying 2 stages, what was the actual gain after running the MPH & ET numbers
through a program, or on the dyno, compared to base engine HP??
Example, 1000 HP engine, 2 stages, 400 HP each, 2nd stage brought in right away.
Need to work out some numbers before the new engine is started.

I'll have to dig out my log book from last year for exact numbers and mph, but 632 BBC, conv head set-up, 1001 hp on motor, 2,650 lb car and driver. At Vegas, 8.60's on motor, 7.9x on one system, 7.40 on two systems at 179 mph hitting the limiter at the top end, not enough gear. Both systems had 32n/28f as the tune-ups.

mine picks around 500hp at the wheels with 2 32n foggers..numbers can be deceiviing though with tight converters and tall gears.

Thanks guys. Ball park is fine, I know every combo is different.
I'll need about 600 HP for one event, so I'm hoping 2, 400 stages will get me there??
That's the problem when you're old & cheap, and want to use the same stuff for 15 years!!
I'm tired of looking at a shelf full of stuff, so now, unless it's beyond repair, I'm using it!!
