I currently have a True Street 79 chevy truck running in the 9's with a 12.5 to 1 477 big block with a 175 shot fogger on pump gas.

my quest is to get it into the 7's and that will take either a 632 on spray or my existing motor converted to turbo.

I will be needing around 1500-1600 hp to do it.

I know what it will cost me to go with the 632, can anyone give me an idea what I am looking at for the turbo conversion. I would like to use my existing set-up changing pistons and cam. I have a set of Brodix Big Brodie heads that have been CNC ported. I would prefer to go the blo-through route.

I have a ton of room in the engine compartment so exhaust and turbo placement will not be an issue.

thanks for any help you can offer

a single 106 or 114 would work great on a big motor like that, id rather see the 114 personally, you will need wastegates and blow off valves as well as a boost controller, fabricate the headers, hot side etc... a carb hat and blow thru carb...various aluminum tubes, v band kits etc..

477 - 509 cid and a single B/W 95 will get you in to the mid teens.
And a pair of 80mm 's would get you to 2K.

Plus the above listed parts.
