At Pomona, spinning during the Hot Rod In n Out 70th the car ran [email protected]
At Irwindale 1/8th mile it ran [email protected] several times
3800 lb on a 10.5 tire. Never got the car sorted out as it's a full interior type car, not really a race car per se. In a properly set up car there's little doubt it would improve.

So much like "Crazy Davey's" '67 or John Wilson's '67 when he ran the 496 VP motor. I am not on TC anymore and didn't know if you ran it or not. Thanks.

Difference in the two posted runs was the 1/8 mile 5.97 was a 1.301 60' and the Pomona run was a 1.38 60'
I don't know what their cars weighed (lighter I think) but both were/are far better sorted out on the chassis side for certain. Davey and Dal were wheel standing champions. :)

Yes those were the cars I was thinking, a bit lighter though but still close.

DON'T FORGET YOUR VERY OWN 572 with the 990 heads that you posted from THE 80's!
