We was racing at Gateway a few years back and a guy with a 64 or 5 Sport Fury with a ton of money in car had a brand new (BAD ASS) $30,000.00 + Indy Hemi in it, This guy was very excited about his new car and HEMI could hardly contain himself with pride and most spectators was watch the car to see how it ran, First pass the car was a turd, 2nd pass motor broke. the guy was gutted. Put it on the trailer, never seen him again.

Be smart if your building a small block mopar and go with the W9 option for a few bucks more.

Use one of the Indy Parts dealers, if you have to use their parts. Do not go direct, at least not on big ticket items....Hell, the last set of spark plugs they sold me weren't even the correct one's!

Actually big block...was decided on 440-1's but now I don't want anything Indy makes. May go with the Victor MW or keep saving and go B1. Not sure now...

As I said, go thru one of their dealers if you are going to buy big ticket items like heads. Plenty of dealers out there.

I spoke with Josh there last month...I asked to speak with him...I was afraid I was going to have an unpleasant conversation because of their rep, but everything went very well! I told Josh from the start I wasn't going to be spending a cent with them as I was looking at some used Indy parts and needed some input and tech details on the parts- was happy to help me and spend as much time needed to answer my questions....Can't complain with that.

So I would say my experience with Indy has been great so far

Yeah that's sounds about right called them a couple of years ago ready to buy a brand new indy max block from them with credit card in hand I was treated like they could not be bothered with me annoyed that I was asking them questions about the block treated me like shit so I basically cursed them out in Spanish hung up on them and proceeded to call Ken Black at Keith Black Racing what a big difference like night and day a complete gentleman answered every question that I had I apologized to him if any of my questions were dumb he laughed and so no questions are dumb so with that I bought the new block I didn't care how long I had to wait for it it was worth it. Indys customer service sucks and they don't care the sad thing the new guy that works there Josh seemed to be a cool guy but I heard from others he contracted Indyitis and join them in the treating people like shit how sad as for me I will not buy another Indy product again I would rather build an import.

Tried to talk to them about there heads, was treated like shit, called one of there dealers, muscle motors, treated like shit, Called Koffels place and had a hard time ending my conversation with Dave Koffel himself, All B1 in my car. only way to fly. Can call them any time with a question, they will take the time to answer any and all questions.

I wanted some indy heads so I bought them thru Porter cylinder heads. He would check them out and no INDY bullshit

I ordered some Comp 928 valve springs from Indy. When they came in they were in a clear plastic baggie. I've bought a lot of Comp valve springs and I know they don't come in a baggie. So I measured them and put them on the valve spring tester. They weren't even close to a 928 in any way. I called them up and they said they will work. Indy is thieving, maggot scum at best.
