i have just assembeled and disassembled an indy AMC 401 upper kit and the head castings are bad, as i see a few other guys i have not even fired the motor, simply water pressure from gravity in the rad , the heads are leaking from the same place on both heads. Saying all this currently becaue the initial customer response was not good nor satiaifactory, this was april 5 2013. they have an opportunity to handel it correctly as i hope they do.

my question is this, has anyone had current or recent problems with poor castings in the ,Last yr or so, most of what i see is several yrs old unless iam misreading the post, i am very new to YELLOW searcing to see if someone has fikled in any leagal complaints through bbb or actually filed any legal proceedings ?

i am not bashng indy yet and please underatnd i am not that kind of guy i just want be treated fairly.

can you pull in videos on this site, i just suscribed tonight? i would like to share the video to have some consistant reponses and i will address accordingly. thanks guys,

i have never in my life as long as i have been in tghe equipoment buiseness and raced that a grop with such a bad rep can continue to do buisness and stay in business, this blows me away.

God if i would have seen this before i paid 4k, i wuld have never taken this risk!!

The field had Magnums, Challengers, Jeeps and Ram trucks. Indy entered a dragster with electronics and a 426 new Hemi. Guess who won the class? The whole thing was classless. Watching regular Joe's with street cars race a Indy Backed and sponsored dragster. They were jumping around and hugging each other after winning.

Customer had assembled his engine and found the leaks. He sent them in we replaced them, and all the gaskets needed for him to put the engine back together. Pretty sure thats as good as it gets. I think it took roughly 10 days for that entire process.

I have pressure tested A LOT of heads. I really fail to see how a leak such as this gets through a pressure test. Seriously? Weve fixed enough Indy junk to know to buy elsewhere.

Wish my problem would have been fixed without "resistance" from you. I should have just left your shop when the big guy at the desk was winded after walking into the parts room 3 times to get me some different items then said, "im only going back there one more time so make this your last request". Anyway , when I got home and needed a little help I basically got told to go get fucked. That was about what I expected. Thanks guys , your awesome.

Had customer bring in a set of INDY 360-1 heads in so i can cc the chambers,as i finished pouring liquid in i noticed i was loosing liquid. After close examination there was a hairline crack from the intake seat into the bowl 1 inch long! luckily i picked that port, got them pressure tested it was pissing out like a hose. They were brand new never bolted to a block, the owner was on holidays in the USA and gave Russ a visit, just put it this way he had Russ by the throat for fucking him around for 6months. he got an upgraded set of heads and Russ paid for someone else to port them. You just cannot FUCK racers like this,especially this guy.Russ was very lucky ! and this guy was from the other side of the planet.
