New cam going in has lift @.877in/.826exh. Wondering what the experts use for springs in this area. not a part number just whos springs are HIGHLY rated. Have a 2.100 installed hieght and will be machining for any size dia. (around 1.650 cup) Most likely pressures will be around 300/350 and 950-1000. Want to know WHO'S springs will last the longest. Do guys coat there springs? if so with what coatings are best to keep the heat down.........Thanks, also if someone has a good deal on these let me know. I have to get them very soon...........Regards Ray

Anyone have and experience with Pacaloy springs?

They do make custom springs as well, I'm sure for a price. They may have something with a better material not on their web site, give them a call. Ask for Chris Osbourne.

Also a great spring. We just had a Super Comp 632ci in for a freshen-up... after one year of abuse, mid .800 lift roller... lost little to nothing in seat pressure. Lemme know if you want a set - can get good number$ with Manley goodies.

Take care -

I've used those in several engines and do like them with around .800-.810 lift. I just had one break though after only about 50 passes.
Comp 948s have worked great for me for a few years now with a very similar activation. I change them every 40-50 passes just to be safe.
Thanks guys!!!!!! I did other research over the weekend and ended up ordering Pacaloy's today w/Ti retainers. They are a top rated spring, just had to reach down deep in my pockets and pay for them. Ray .D
