there is no good out of the box sb2 intake. They all are designed to be ported. I have a 048 gm intake that has some port work done to it if you are interested.

The largest out of the box will be a 2962. I have a ported version for mine. Ports are 1.55"W x 2.13"H. The older 2862 was 1.25"W x 1.78"H. Can't find the 2866 dimensions but I do know they were smaller out of the box. And then there is the MM t-ram...

The best GM intake is the 617.

Not sure how true it is but I was told it's rumored there are several SB2.2 Intakes out there bearing GM Part#s that are not listed in any GM Catalogues.

Jeff I have a friend who has a nice one for sale, it has been ported, (cut in half and welded back together) He said he had over 2k in it and would sell it for 1/2 that. He changed over to a sheetmetal manifold and doesnt need it anymore. It is drilled and tapped for a fogger also.
Thanks Randy. I am putting and F2 on a 399" sb2, so I just need a gasket matched piece. Alot of people are looking for good sb2 intakes, should sell quick.
How much, what size are the ports, does it have a large plenum?

Yeah, it most likely wouldnt be well matched for that combo. was on a 440+ci sb2 set up for heavy NOS. Good luck with your build Jeff.

ports are 1.500 wide and 2.150 tall, the plenum is decent size but not as large as 617 or 2866. I will take 400.00 for it.
