i am really not exactly sure of hp but its gotta be close to 700. The intake i have now i believe is a knock off ebay intake so i am looking to get the best possible intake on the car.

motor is a 468 13.5.1 compression on alcohol. .710/.710 lift cam on installed on a 108 lca. Canfield 310 heads.fully ported with 2.25/1.9 valves.carburetor is a 4150 pro systems carb rated at 1000 cfm.car weighs around 3000lbs with 4.88 gears.

i have a weiand team G intake i could also use but it appears there are better intakes out there.From what i have read on here the edelbrock 454 r or the sniper jr would be the best match , i dont thin they make sniper jr's with 4150 flange, would i still be better off getting a sniper jr and just buying a 4500-4150 adapter plate?

whats the difference between a victor jr and a 454 r?

and how the hell were u running that fast lol? best i have got out of mine is like a 9.95 in a 3200 lb car..

Vic Jr is a 4150 flange. He had a well scienced out combo that was well built with the right parts. IIRC, 12-13:1 comp, custom solid roller, and the key was the cyl heads had a set of BMF cnc'd heads on it. It was a bad motor scooter.

ok it seems the BMF heads might of made a big difference compared to mine lol..although my canfields are pretty nice..i think my reasons for not running as fast are smaller cam , 10 inch converter , and the fact that i had to run it with a stock air filter ( i have since bought a scoop and will no longer have to run air filter but never made a pass with it.)

but yeah that must of been a very nicely set up motor

As Doug mentioned, the Vic jr is a 4150 intake, the 454R is a dominator flange intake.

wow our combos are real close..i have gm steel crank , eagle h beams , and je 13.1 pistons lol

like i said my converter sucks its a ******* 9.5 inch stalled at like 5000 plus my small cam...i cant go 9's anyways until i fix my cage so oh well for now

The only way you will truly know with out a dyno is to try a couple
Ive help a friend with his combo 13to1 496 with a 730 ish roller and it has a set of inexpensive overseas casting heads and a hurricane intake 3400 lbs its been 6.12 with a 1.30 60ft in the 1/8 and there still a little left in it

sorry it is a victor 454r! i went to a super victor...... i do have the 2 inch adapter as well to go from 4500 to 4150 carb! i made 715 hp on my 468 and was told the adapter help cool the fuel and gain a couple hp.....pm me if interested

I've been a huge fan of Dart BBC Intakes for a very long time! Especially the Oval Port version that had been been port-matched to a rectangular port. Dart even has a CNC Program to do this port job and because of it's slightly smaller plenum chamber, it is idea for engines under 509-540. Dart will also tell you you to buy their 4150 carb pattern manifold and use a 2-inch tall adaptor for a 4500 Dominator INSTEAD of buying the Dominator intake. Intake manifolds are a fetish of mine and I love trying new ones because they're a non-wear part and easy to change! I'll tell 'ya, I once tried to save some money and purchased an Edelbrock 454R and was very disappointed at the lack of power. I removed it immediately and put my tried-and-true Dart back on and picked the lost power right back up so I'm sold on Dart! Although I would like to try a Super Victor though someday!

Well.... I don't know the applications of where your 4150 rect. port dart intakes are thriving, but I have one on a .600 lift pumpgas 489 and all the racers I've talked to have looked at it and cringed... too big too big and so on. I'm gonna throw on a vic jr. so I hope your wrong in your evaluation.....
