I have a pan also, and added another under the trans, just to be extra safe.
I also use a diaper to help keep the stuff going sideways the pan won't contain.

After switching to a pan I can honestly say I'll never go back to a diaper. It's so much easier to work around and neatens up the engine bay.

I built a pan and use absorbent material sheets in it. I used welding wire cut just longer than the pan to hold in place. Its heavy weld wire like 3/32 or 1/8". I built a small grid with the wire and brazed it at the intersections. Its a press in place fit and hasn't failed me in over 100 passes.

I use 1/4x20 bolts in 4 corners to hold it in place.

Mine is dzuzed in, and a couple of years ago they made me add 2 more for a total of 6.
