Toyo is currently the only drag tire maker that conforms to the wheel and tire industry standards as far as bead bundle size. Most of the other tire makers are constructing bead bundles that are undersize. Our beadlock was originally designed to meet wheel and tire industry standards, but as the bead bundles shrunk we built a new ring to provide more clamping and to correct air leakage. We have offered both rings as an option when ordering, we have replaced many rings for customers who got the wrong stuff initially, and after testing the tires available today, have decided we will probably offer the shorter ring as standard equipment. Topless, why don't you call Weld Motorsports at 1-800-788-9353 and let's see what we can work out. We wouldn't stay in business too long if we didn't want satisfied customers. Couple of questions, we have dealers that stock this stuff, did you order a special combo that no one stocked? Just wondered why you waited, did you try and return them to us for repair/replacment when you started having problems (not even sure what the problem is, at this point), why did you pay Shepard (twice?) to "fix" them and what did they do? Did they cut the Weld beadlocks off and weld their own on?
