Does anyone have a phone # for Redd's or a web address?
Called today , thay will trade my old rings out for new . (no stock )at this time but will have in to weeks .Toyo is currently the only drag tire maker that conforms to the wheel and tire industry standards as far as bead bundle size. Most of the other tire makers are constructing bead bundles that are undersize. Our beadlock was originally designed to meet wheel and tire industry standards, but as the bead bundles shrunk we built a new ring to provide more clamping and to correct air leakage. We have offered both rings as an option when ordering, we have replaced many rings for customers who got the wrong stuff initially, and after testing the tires available today, have decided we will probably offer the shorter ring as standard equipment. If you have further questions call Weld/American Motorsports at 1-800-788-9353.
