Are all BBF Crower Cranks Billet??? I only find billet ones.. Have they ever sold just a forged one???

Actually I took a 598 bbf on trade, and I'm trying to figure out WTF I've got. Lol

Crower used to grind the Ford SVO forging way back when. I think I got mine from them in '93. Bryant purchased all the remaining ones from Ford I believe.

They had a new forging for the BBF...but it doesn't show in the catalog. They must have dropped it when Scat, Eagle, and RPM brought theirs out.

What about in a 4.625 stroke?

It doesn't matter who makes a Billet all true Billets are CNC machined every inch of the crank. If you see any evidence of casting flash or someone tried to sand it smooth it's forged.

Here's a pic, not the best but can still see.. It's in the bottom end of this 598 short block I took on trade...

It says X76 CROWER 4625 on the front, the only spots that aren't perfectly smooth are the corner edges where it was clearanced..
