BES A460 heads 2.400 1.88 titanium valves... heads have some trick stuff done to them.
565, bryant crank, BME 6.800 rods 13:1
60mm cam high 280 intake duration, high 300 exhaust duration on a 118 .950/.917 .937 keyed lifters
1/2 exhaust pushrods 7/16 taper intakes
external wet sump pump , star vacuum pump.
cast single plane intake maxed out... dominator carb

its a nitrous engine

could just search the internet for the biggest numbers and use THAT dyno.

Kidding aside, ... any idea what the cross section of
the head is?, ,, I'd guess 1070 ish, ..

Wayde Mahoney had a 577 a head motor. I believe he was making over 1200 with it was built for all motor

we stopped making dyno pulls at 1261hp at 900 foot pounds of torque, fastest et at 3270 pounds 8.22 and holds the mph record at 175 dyno sheets will be giving to the new owner of the engine.

Ok that's the motor in was thinking of that wayde had. The 577 was a bbc conventional

I made 1200 HP on a 532 with sheetmetal intake and twin carbs on Q-16. People questioned the dyno validity and the data is questionable. The engine is in a pulling truck and we have a 640 ci C headed engine in another truck that dynoed 1200 HP on another dyno. The 532 has yet to loose to the 640. I see 1200HP as a realistic target with your i, s dotted and t, s crossed. Camshaft and intake are critical.

I could be wrong, but that intake looks custom built. Not sure if BES does that stuff in house or not, but guys like Gaby Labiosa build intakes like that.

Looks cast but the top is different then a single T/R trick flow top

I'd also bet you'd be around 1150 or so with the right cam, possibly more if you're close to either Kentucky or Georgia.

I doubt that you or Mr. Wayde were at 13/1 but, 15+/1 is a different program. I hope he does hit 1,200 at 13/1....it'll be what it is and the spray will do it's thing.
