I was wanting to know how the new cv products excelydyne belt drives compare to jesel belt drives

I like the elites, the captured bearing doesn't require end play adjustment, just positioning with washers. Make sure you red loctite the center bolt, we had one torqued with lube per directions come loose after a year on the engine.

Mine is holding up well............I had 4000 miles on it when I changed the belt for the first time, no leaks or any of that nonsense. 700ish HP SBC. Hope this helps.

I liked the Xceldyne also because of the captured bearing. It was also the better price in my situaton. So far only about 20 street miles on a 800ish pump gas BBC. So far so good.

Elites are super nice with the captured thrust assembly. I have seen Jesels now with the same setup but the quality is no better and only higher priced because you are buying the name. I have Jesel parts and like them, at least until CV starts making Exceledyne shaft rockers, haha.
