They did it here in Cali... All I can say is be ready and buy what you need.
Normally that would be a great idea, too bad the way the bill is written there will not be a grandfather clause, it will not just outlaw new normal capacity magazines, it will outlaw all current normal capacity magazines.

And more importantly, how is 10 the majic number, why is 9 an infringement on my rights, 10 is perfect, but 11 is just asking me to kill someone? The Logic is MISSING!

At this point, obama isn't going to touch anything anti-gun. It would completely ruin any chances of re-election. Even people that voted for him were running out and stocking up the day after his election. Now, if he wins next year, I forsee some legislation passing easily.

6, 8, 10, 15.....it doesn't matter. The people who shouldn't have them will still get them. People who should have them will pay the price for those who shouldn't.

This deal will blow over. Other than a couple of rifles and one handgun (wants of course) I have all the guns I will ever need. I have on average 5 to 6 mags for every handgun I own and 2 speedloaders at a min for the revolvers. So based on my mood on which gun I choose to carry I have at a minimum of 18 rounds. If I can't protect myself or my family with that, then I already have a will and a box picked out along w/ already owning a patch of dirt to be put in. I have been shot before....so I can accept death. Been there, done that and have the scars to prove it. The gov't telling me or some gun manufacturer that they can only sell handguns w/ a certain cap mag is of little issue to me.

It only takes one shot to kill or be killed....in the grand scheme of life, does it really matter how many you have in the mag?

Anybody who owns firearms, and thinks they need hi-cap mags, had better get them while they're cheap. Even if there is no ban, there will be a rush to buy at some point. This happens over and over.

We all know this but try to get the gun grabbers, that think all we have to do is legislate guns out of existance and nobody will be killed by a gun again, to believe it. They are all liberals, they breed and vote.

Wasn't there a ban on producing magazines with over 13 rounds (or somewhere around there) back in the late 80's/early 90's? I think it was repealed about 10-15 years after it was introduced.

'94, and included mags (max 10 rd detachable) along with other things. It was a 10 year law that had to be signed back in to keep enacted. Bush saw there was no significant change in crime (hence no need for the law) in those 10 years, so he let it slide without re-signing it.

Next gun show I am going to stock up on those 50 round monsters for Glock. Even though I don't own a Glock, but I know there will be a Glock owner out there who might give me a good return on my investment.
