it's not gonna matter how you do it, just do it. You dont see top fuel teams with a spin ballancer do ya?:p

never have balanced a slick..maybe i am lucky...cant see balancing a tire that loses ounces of rubber per pass...but this is just my opinion.

If you can find a machine spin would be more acurate.
I have spun balanced every time so far but I'm always getting vibration and was wondering if they were balanced correctly. I'm going to bubble balance this time to see if makes a difference.

We have been balancing our slicks for years. After balancing he slicks the nasty topend vibration that we could not find disappeared.

If the tire is not properly secured to the rim, then yes, when the tire moves on the wheel it will be out-of-balance. The key - secure the tire to the wheel.
