Caught some pics of this boeing b-52 stratofortress bomber flying over north Georgia today..Ive never seen one of these flying around here...I seen it circle 3 times while at lunch..Obviously its out of louisiana...Wonder what it was doing circling around North GA

The engines make one hell of a whistleing noise when they fly over at low altitudes. They make passes around the airport here from time to time.

No they are USAF from Barksdale AFB in Bossier/ Shreveport.

Yep, they moved them a few years back from what used to be Carswell AFB in west Ft Worth. Growing up I used to see and hear them everyday.
